About Us

Chef Joaquin Lopez acknowledges that his experience with American, Mexican and Italian cuisine makes it hard to sum up what the cafe has to offer. “We have customers who absolutely love our pancakes, waffles, omelettes and other breakfast offerings. They come regularly and really enjoy the friendly, casual mornings at the cafe where they can eat and visit with friends. On the other hand, we have families who come in for our homemade soups, sandwiches and desserts at lunchtime.

As an experienced business owner, Lopez has been making improvements to the property right along with the expansions made to the menu. The cafe has been painted inside and out, had new booths installed and a new exterior sign erected, gotten some flowers planted and had the parking lot resurfaced. This doesn’t include all of the behind-the-scenes upgrades to equipment, a contemporary point of sale system, adding carry out service and the launch of the Cafe’s web site.

With an eye toward the future, there is no shortage of ambition or work ethic in the Lopez family when it comes to their efforts at providing the best food and customer experience possible.
